Lucid releases Colorado Readiness Record (CPA)
On July 1 2023, the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) will come into effect. In fact, July is shaping up to be a banner month, as the Connecticut law will also take effect and CPRA in California is expected to commence enforcement. We’re hearing indications that letters will be mailed out in California as early as July 2nd. Will all of this on the horizon, we need to be sure we’re collectively using the first half of the month to stay a step ahead.
To help you keep pace with the law, and to help you evaluate whether your business meets thresholds of applicability, Lucid is releasing our Colorado Readiness Record as a public reference. As with all of these new state laws, we are expecting the practical requirements to evolve as rule making and enforcement activities clarify many of the fuzzy borders. We’ll plan to update these resources as necessary over time.
